ApexRank Lebanon ("we," "us," or "our") operates the ApexRank Lebanon mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information – Email address and password when you register.
• Profile Information – Your name, sport(s), weight class, gym affiliation, and bio that you voluntarily provide.
• Profile Photos – Profile pictures and business images you choose to upload.
• Competition & Training Data – Competition results, training logs, personal records, and goals you enter.
• Location Data – If you are a business owner and choose to share your location, we collect GPS coordinates solely to place your gym on the map. This is optional and only collected with your explicit consent.
• Usage Data – General information about how you interact with the App (e.g., pages viewed, features used). This is not linked to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your athlete or business profile.
• To calculate and display sports rankings.
• To display your profile to other users of the platform.
• To enable gym owners and coaches to be discoverable in the app.
• To send you important service-related communications (e.g., verification status).
• To improve the App and diagnose technical issues.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase – Our backend provider for database storage, authentication, and file storage. Data is stored on servers in the European Union.
• Expo / EAS – For app distribution and updates.

4. Profile Visibility

Athlete profiles, rankings, and competition records are visible to all users of the App. If you do not wish your profile to be publicly visible, do not create an athlete profile or contact us to delete your account.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time directly from within the App (Profile → Delete Account). Upon deletion, all your personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure authentication tokens. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information in your profile.
• Delete your account and all associated data from within the App.
• Contact us with any privacy concerns.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
